The 19th century marked the start of Children Right In 2013, the constitution of the Republic of Fiji under chapter 2, Bill of the Rights under section 41(1) (d) states that: Every child has the right  to be protected from abuses, neglect, harmful cultural practices, any forms of violence, inhumane treatment and punishment, and hazardous and exploitative labor. -Some examples of Children's Right are: Right to survival Right to be born Right to minimum standards of foods, shelter and clothing Right to protection Right to participation Right to development Right to education and so forth. -It is very important to take care of every Child because they are our future - We should love them and take care of their needs and wants -Before 2013, we used to received corporal punishment because our voice is not mattered by then -We get the hidings, and other detention if we do not listen to our teachers but today every child's voice are st...

The Important of coconut in my Banaban community   June 19,2022 Coconut is very important in the Banaban community because it brings a lot of out put. In the Island of the Banaban community, it has four villagers. Majority are farmers, they also used coconut for copra, this is where they earn income through selling it. In the olden days coconut was the main food of our ancestors with fish but now are days, coconut has being used to produced a Pure Banaban Virgin Oil. The founder of this business is Terikano Takesau, also the Manager. The business started in 2010. The main purpose of the business or the project is to helps the women to utilize natural resources i.e.  is coconut which is  abundance  in the Island to initiate and generate income The products that used from the coconuts is the Virgin Oil. The Importance of the Banaban Traditional Dancing

  There are many significances of the Banaban Traditional Dancing because it maintain the culture and on the other hand the Banaban traditional dances helps the local to compensate the communities . For example, in my Island, there were various groups from different villagers where they used to perform when tourists come to the Island. The performance is to show our culture and at the same time, they received money and this how the Banaban culture dance group managed to earn income and divide among them. The picture above shows the picture of one group in Rabi Island do the dancing in Savusavu during the carnival festival. The Banaban dancing group belong to the Buakonikai Methodist Church, its a Banaban community in Rabi Island. The group was hired to do a performance in a carnival celebration and the amount of money they received was $300 a night.   The picture above shows the Banaban Traditional Dancing Custom. Dancing with our traditional wear is one of the Banaban Culture.. The Banaban traditional dance was began in the 1945 until today from the day where our ancestors were sent to Fiji Island (Rabi Island). In Rabi Island, it consists of four villagers where it occupied by the Banaban people. Each Primary Schools have a cession where it called Culture and it means dancing. The main reason why the Banaban dance was put in every school timetable is to maintain and preserve the Banaban culture and is because everyone is bine, where children are so young and easy to learn. The picture above shows the Banaban female costume. The female costume are made from the followings. 1. Teira is called a pandanus leave.
